Even though you had done nothing wrong, you were detained one morning. You arrived at work, but you didn't recognize your coworkers. The game is based on three of the famed absurdist writer's works and was developed in collaboration with leading Kafka specialists.

Can you win an unjust trial? Is the job even real? Can you escape your father's oppressive presence? Navigating the complexities of ambiguous rules and intrigues can be challenging.

FEATURES

  • A fully voiced branching story based on Kafka's The Trial, The Castle, and Letter to His Father.
  • Evocative puzzles, tragic decisions, and drag-and-drop games that bring characters and surroundings to life.
  • About 1.5 hours of story in an ever-changing scenario.

Three books, three gameplay chapters:

The Trial

You face an enigmatic court trial and are gradually drawn into a maze of bewildering bureaucracy. It is up to you to address the vague but insidious charge - who to seek assistance from and how to communicate with judges, procurators, and others as the verdict approaches. Does it really matter if you are innocent?

Letter to His Father

This chapter, inspired by Kafka's unsent confession to his father, digs into their strained relationship. Try to locate the words that helped Kafka come to grips with his childhood. In flashback moments, Franz struggles to bond with his father. Is there any possibility of reconciliation?
