The game can also be played offline after the content download is finished, with the exception of a few online only elements.

Your tank, healer, and ranger allies will fight alongside you; rescue them. Utilize their skills in conjunction with yours to forge lucrative and effective tactical combos.

Experience a new narrative that is laced with intergalactic intrigue and amusing characters. Investigate and foil Ragadam, your arch enemy, as you pursue him around the realms.

Gear can be upgraded from common to uncommon, epic, and legendary. Look for jewels that will fit the sockets on your armor. Make socketed rings and amulets, then combine three of them to create a better one.

Use powerful offensive skills like Whirlwind, Shockwave, Arc Lightning, or Blizzard to overwhelm your opponent's crowd, or use Frost Nova, Vortex, Silence, or Smokescreen, Traps, and Snipe to sneak up on your target and kill them.

About 20 skills or spells are available to each hero class, and each of your three companions has access to four more. The game starts out straightforward but ends with a flurry of tactical options at high levels.

Your experience points are transferred into Champion Levels once your hero reaches level 70. Champion Levels are limitless and produce consistent stat increases. Your new heroes will have an easier time maturing because they inherit Champion Levels as well.

The Trials of Valor game mode offers an unending progression of stunning, randomly created stages in addition to the four story acts.
